My 5 Favorite Things About Duluth So Far
Around September of last year, I packed up and moved from the Twin Cities to Duluth and it has been an amazing ride so far!
I had been to Duluth a bunch growing up and even have some family here. I hadn't been here for awhile prior to moving so I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew it was beautiful and unique but I have been blown away by all that the city and its people have to offer.
It was hard - but I narrowed down my very favorite things about Duluth (and the rest of the Northland) so far.
By the way, I still have quite the bucket list. I have a lot of places to visit in 2018!

Does it get any better than Canal Park? The leaves in the fall? Looking out onto Lake Superior? Enough said. This one speaks for itself.

Okay, so it is a little bit too cold right now for my taste but after living in Arizona a few years back, I swore I would never complain about it again. (Once it was so hot there my shoes melted on my feet.) Who doesn't love snuggling up in a bunch of blankets and drinking hot chocolate when it is cold? It also makes the holiday feel last a little bit longer too.

This sounds trivial but I absolutely LOVE coffee. When I lived in Wyoming, the options were limited. Now, I have Dunkin' Donuts and Caribou Coffee and that's just by the station. There are a lot of great local coffee shops too. My coffee-loving soul is happy.

I am a Halloween lover. It is my favorite holiday and one of my favorite things in the world. I kept hearing about The Haunted Ship whenever I would mention that I was moving to Duluth. I made it a point to go one of my first weekends here. (My mom is still mad that I dragged her there!) It was so cool and unlike any other haunted attraction I've been too and trust me, I've been to many. I love all the other ships too whether they are haunted or not.

The Job
Of course, my favorite thing about Duluth is getting to work at B105! I have always dreamed of getting to talk about country music for a living and the fact that now I get to seems like the best thing in the world. I love the people I work with and all of you that I get to interact with daily!
