Help! Your Suggestions For A Fun Duluth Weekend
Earlier this week on The Breakfast Club, we asked you to throw out a few suggestions for my mom's visit this weekend. (Disclaimer: she has been here before but we are breaking out our inner tourists for a few days.) Part of the weekend will be dedicated to getting me settled into my new place but we are going to try to tackle as much as possible!
Here is what you came up with:
- 1
Enger Tower
It is worth mentioning there is a meet there this weekend so this may be postponed until a later date. It is a must in the near future though!
- 2
Glensheen Mansion Tour
The more spooky things we fit in, the better! My mom may not agree.
- 3
The Haunted Ship
This is on my bucket list and I want to go every weekend until it's over. I may have to lie to my mom to get her there.
- 4
Jay Cooke State Park
The pictures I have seen are breathtaking. This is the perfect time of year to go. Hopefully weather permits!
- 5
Watch The Ships Come In
This is something people from all over come to see. My mom has seen ships come in but I haven't. It would be great to see this together.
- 6
See The Aerial Lift Bridge
This is a Duluth staple. The view isn't too bad, either!
- 7
The Pottery Burn
If the forecast calls for rain, we may have to head indoors for awhile. My mom loves pottery so this would be a great idea.
- 8
Go To A Brewery
I'm not a huge beer person but I am on a mission to change that! This could be the first step.
- 9
Take A Scenic Train Ride
This would be an amazing way to take full advantage of the beautiful fall colors.
- 10
Visit Canal Park
This famous hot spot is not only beautiful but lined with great shops and sights.
