We may not like to pay them, but household expenses are a part of life that everyone includes in their monthly budget.

Recently, a 2024 U.S. Household Bill Pay Report was released from doxo that had some interesting insights, especially for Duluth residents.

First, I assume it's obvious to everyone that the cost of household expenses continues to rise, and the results of the 2024 U.S. Household Bill Pay Report reflect that. It found that the average amount consumers spend per year on the 10 most essential household bills grew 4% year over year.

What Are the 10 Most Essential Household Bills?

While Duluth's expenses are higher than the U.S. average, it certainly could be worse. The most expensive place to live is Hawaii, which is 50% above the national average. The least expensive place to live is Alabama.
