Help Needed For Nine Great Dane Puppies In Animal Allies Care
Doing incredible things, as always. Animal Allies has nine new puppies and they are now asking for help from the public as they navigate the expensive journey ahead.
On Wednesday (June 24th), staff shared some sweet photos of the Great Dane puppies. They also provided more details about how they ended up with these puppies in the first place and it is heartbreaking.

According to their post, these puppies had to be surrendered because there was a fire at their family home. They took the puppies in free of charge given the circumstances and will now will be caring for them for the foreseeable future.
Because of this, they are asking for financial donations from the public. They say they are grateful to give them a safe place to stay but obviously this also comes with some hefty expenses.

Some popped into the comments and asked about possibly helping by fostering these puppies. Staff say at this time, there are not fostering opportunities as they are just getting things settled with these new additions.

However, they did say they will provide an update if or when fostering opportunities become available. Above all, they ask for everyone to keep the family in their thoughts as they rebuild and recover after the fire.

As for adoption, staff also say it will be awhile until they are up for adoption, as they still need their medical treatments and assessments. As always, they will provide an update when one becomes an available.
I am praying for everyone involved. I am glad these puppies have a loving place to be in the meantime.
