Duluth Authorities Make Sizable Haul Executing Search Warrant

As the Northland was getting into their Friday morning, the Duluth Police Department posted on its Facebook page that it had been very busy working with other agencies, which culminated with the execution of a search warrant.

That search warrant turned out to be quite fortuitous for authorities as it resulted in multiple arrests and a sizeable haul that included drugs and guns.

Duluth Police not only shared the news Friday morning, but they also provided photos of what was seized.

Search Warrant Executed On Thursday, July 11, 2024

According to the Duluth Police Department, the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, Duluth Patrol Officers and Investigators, and Deputies from the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant Thursday in the 1400 block of 91st Ave W.

During the execution of the search warrant the following items were seized:

• 1.5 pounds of fentanyl
• 1 pound of methamphetamine
• Over one pound of heroin
• .5 pounds of cocaine
• .40 caliber Glock pistol with an obliterated serial number, with a Glock switch installed, which turns the firearm into a fully automatic weapon
• 9mm pistol

The execution of the search warrant also resulted in multiple arrests. Duluth Police noted that 35-year-old Duluth resident Antonio Holmes, 19-year-old Chicago resident Ezra Polk, and 37-year-old unknown resident Deonta Cousins were detained and arrested without incident.

These individuals were booked at the St. Louis County Jail for multiple pending charges.

The Duluth Police Department also congratulated members of their Violent Offender Task Force for "safely apprehending these violent offenders and taking these harmful substances and weapons off the streets of Duluth."
