The Duluth Transit Authority announced around 7 am this morning that the Emergency Mainline Service Status due to the winter storm we are experiencing.

The Lakewalk that is now buried under rock, ice and snow and may be until next Spring.
Today is our first winter storm of the season, and as I was out running errands downtown Duluth, I noticed that Lake Superior was already feeling the effects of the storm.
