winter storm

This may be the last big hurrah for Mother Nature, indications are we could see a little snow in the area. Just when we thought we were done. Are you prepared for a bad winter storm. Better yet, are you prepared for shutdowns.

Here we are in mid March, expecting another winter storm.  Snow is starting to fall right now, and could be heavy during today.  The National Weather service forecasts 3-7" of snowfall today for the Twin Ports, higher amounts are possible along the North and South Shores.  We then are expected get a few more inches overnight.

You know it's April in the Northland when... 1.  You can barely see the tops of our lawn furniture in the yard. 2.  You scheduled an appointment in June to take the snow tires off your car. 3.  School is cancelled because of snow... ON APRIL 19TH.

Duluth, MN has gotten lucky!  Three major snow storms have passed to the South of us, leaving us balking at the local forecasters.  However, the last one DID bring 50+ mph winds.  Artistic Mother Nature used  Lake Superior waves and Park Point as her canvas for some phenomenal nature artwork, I just HAD to share.
