Bong Heritage Center 3rd Annual Open House Takes Place Today

If you haven't been to the Richard Bong Heritage Center, you should really stop by today.  It's their 3rd Annual Open House and admission is just $5 today.  I've been to the center and it really is a world class center that honors our veterans.

You won't be disappointed.  There are plenty of displays and models including a P-38 Lightning, which is replica of Richard Bong's fighter.

You'll also learn a lot about WWII ace Richard Bong who grew up locally.  (He's who the Bong Bridge is named after.)

The open house goes until 5pm today, and there will even be food from the grill.  Hope you can make it.
