Superior has updated a lot of its streets and businesses. Tower Avenue got a face lift and so did Belknap/Highway 2 in Superior. There has been a big change along the sides of the streets too.
The Belknap Street Reconstruction Project is finally taking shape as concrete has been laid down for most of the street. It's as if we almost can see the light at the end of the tunnel
Belknap Street construction continues along in it's second phase of the multi million dollar project. Since the last update they've completed work on the south side water main, and storm sewer to Hughitt Avenue.
Anyone in Superior knows what a huge project this Belknap Street reconstruction has become. Despite the wet weather last week, progress is rolling along. Since the last update, they've completed the sewer main to Baxter Avenue, the water main to Lamborn Avenue, and even paved asphalt in the area near Burger King, UWS, and Pilgrim Church.
