It didn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out this "who dunnit" crime. A 23 Superior man is facing felony charges after he drew a phallic symbol and his name in wet concrete on Belknap Street.

One of Superior's main arteries is scheduled to close for 6 hours overnight as the construction continues on Belknap Street.

A busy stretch of Belknap Street will close for 6 days, beginning June 24th.  The section is from Catlin Avenue to Hill Avenue, although Catlin Avenue Intersection will still allow traffic to cross Belknap.  The closure is to allow work crews to install water mains and sewer lines.

Belknap is in the early stages of a huge overhaul, which is anticipated to take place all the way until November of this year.   The latest weekly update shows that we can expect to see some storm sewer work beginning next week.
