SureCan Gas Can Review: Finally A Can That Vents
Remember when gas cans could pour gas and not spill all over the place? Remember when they were vented properly so you could pour with ease? I HATE modern gas cans. With new regulations it's so hard to get gas out of them and into machines. After a frustrating mishap again where the ring leaked on the spout of my most recent gas can, I went to Menards and hoped I could find something better.
Turns out, I did. The SureCan was expensive ($44.99), but already worth it. It's got a spout that you can fold down on the bottom, and a button lever you push to release the gas. It's a simple design, but works wonderfully. Under the button is a vent to, so we finally have a vented gas can again. Thank GOD.
It takes a little bit to get used to, since once you let go of the button whatever is in the nozzle will still come out, but you should be able to figure it out pretty quickly.
Filling up the pontoon boat at the cabin has always been a challenge, but with the SureCan it was simple and I didn't spill a drop in the lake.
So if you are in the market for a new gas can, spend a few extra bucks on this one. You won't regret it.
