It's not every day you catch a massive wildcat strolling through a Minnesota field, but that’s exactly what happened in a small Southeast Minnesota town this week.
The firearms deer hunting opening weekend was last weekend in Minnesota. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON. He says approximately 375,000 licenses were sold, and 55,100 deer were shot, which is up about 4% from the opening 2 days from last year.
It’s November in Minnesota, which means we’re all busy wrapping up outdoor chores before the snow arrives. There are decorations to take down, new ones to put up, leaves to rake, and patio furniture to stow away. But there’s one thing that’s still hanging around in a lot of yards and Minnesota law prohibits it from being there much longer.
