Duluth’s Target Store Rolls Out Major New Curbside Feature
Your life is about to get a little bit easier and your wallet a little bit lighter. Target stores in Minnesota have officially rolled out a brand new feature that allows you to stay right in your car. This new feature isn't a big surprise though.
In March of this year, it was announced that two different features would be coming to a curbside pickup near you. The first was the ability to make returns from your car and the other was the addition of a coffee to your order! It looks like the second one has officially become a reality.
PUMPKIN SPICE SEASON: When Does The Flavor Arrive In The Twin Ports?
I went to Target yesterday to get a drive-up order. I was shocked when I saw that I could actually add a drink from Starbucks to my order, having it brought to me in my car along with my other goodies. (Of course, the coffee shop can be found in Target stores.)
According to a press release from the company, the new perk will be effective in nearly two-thousand of their stores by October at the latest. The good news is that this is already an option at our Duluth store, so we don't have to wait any longer!
So How Does It Work?
Adding a caffeine fix is easy! After you get the notification that your Target drive-up order is ready and let them know you are on your way, you will have a chance to place an order from the store's Starbucks. It includes the entire menu, even the food options.
All you have to do is click the "Add For Drive Up" option and pay for the order then and there. That's all there is to it! When you arrive, you will get your goodies the same way, including your delicious iced latte.
As of right now, it doesn't look like the curbside return option is available. At least, it didn't pop up for me when I showed up the other day. I can't wait for that perk. It is getting a little too easy to be lazy and stay in the car!
