Check Out This Incredible North Shore Mansion That's For Sale
There are some truly amazing homes in the Northland. This muli-million dollar "lake home" tucked into the trees between Highway 61 and Lake Superior near Silver Bay is definitely one of them. Up for sale for the low price of $5.495 million, you can enjoy creature comforts like a steam shower, infrared sauna, and treetop studio in a ruggedly beautiful setting. Anyone who has driven Highway 61 knows there isn't much land between the highway and Lake Superior. How they managed to tuck all of this between the lake and road in an inconspicuous way is pretty amazing. You'd never see it from the road.

Superior’s ‘Chicken Spur’ Closing Its Doors
A popular gas station at the foot of the Blatnik Bridge in Superior closed its doors as 2017 kicked off. While the actual reason for their closing wasn't disclosed at the time, many speculated it was due to competition coming into the area.

A girl swimming in Island Lake north of Duluth was attacked by a creature, leaving gashes in her foot that required a visit to the emergency room. The victim's family initially said it was an otter, while doctors said it had to be a large fish like a muskie. What was it?
