You won't find a more beautiful way to help out than this!

Volunteers are needed to help clean Skyline Parkway once again this year. The scenic road could use some fine tuning right about now, especially after a long and brutal winter.

According to the City of Duluth, last year's cleanup was hugely successful, removing "1,360 pounds of abandoned litter material in addition to scrap metal, a mini-fridge, and numerous tires that were found along the route." Wow. Over 70 people volunteered to help out.

You can be part of that effort this time around. This year's event will be held on Sunday, April 28th. It begins at 2 p.m. and continues until about 5 p.m.

Volunteers will meet at Lake Superior Brewing company. From there, volunteers will be moved to different locations running from Haines Road to St. Louis River Road.

You don't have to bring or provide anything to help out aside from water to keep hydrated. Dress appropriately for the weather with sturdy shoes.

As a thank you to everyone for helping out, volunteers will be treated to a party at Lake Superior Brewing, complete with food, drinks and prizes.
