New Townhouses Coming To Congdon Area

If you're looking to make a move, good news: more housing options are on the way.

According to the Duluth News Tribune, we will soon see a new development on the upper side of London Road in Duluth. About 3 1/2 acres of land will be transformed into about 36 duplex townhomes, if all goes according to plan.

The new townhouses will sit between 36th and 40th Avenues East.

Prices will range from $269,900 for a two-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit to about $300,000 for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home.

The new units will have garages with the three-bedroom homes offering a great view of the lake.

The developer told DNT that he expects to begin the building process this summer and will continue for the next four to five years.

Last year around this time, the most expensive house in Duluth was up for sale in that area. It sits at 2930 London Road on the shore of Lake Superior. We think the townhomes will be a nice alternative for those that don't want to spit out 1.5 million dollars, right?
