New Piglet’s Grill & Cantina in Superior, Wisconsin Announces Opening Date

Earlier this year, Bucktale's Cantina announced they would be moving from their location near Pattison Park, just south of Superior, into a new location on Tower Avenue in Superior.

It was also discovered that they would not be keeping both locations open, so the big question was what would take the place of their previous location, located at 6098 South WI-35? Well, that answer has arrived and they are opening this week!

The new Piglet's Grill & Cantina has been busy moving into that location and people throughout the area have been anxiously awaiting information on exactly when they would open. On Wednesday, their local ownership group made it official on their Facebook page:

We're getting closer! How's Friday sound people? Let's open the doors! We're not going to be perfect but we promise you one thing, we'll feed you and serve you a good drink! You can take a peek at our menu at pigletsgrill.com and come on in starting this Friday the 21st at 11am. We can't wait to meet you!

Just like that we have a fun new place to eat, drink and play in the Northland! According to their website: "We're a quaint, relaxed atmosphere for you to enjoy dinner with the family and some friends. Come down and relax on a nice day or better yet, a rainy, snowy day and you won't know you're in Superior WI. You'll think you're at a small island beach resort."

The menu features a nice mix of American favorites plus there's a nice bit of Mexican flare and even smoked brisket among the variety of food options. There's also a unique drink menu that features fun names like the Wipeout Margarita, Malibu Mermaid, Tiki Bandit and more.

Piglet's Grill & Cantina also promises to be a fun place to play with a fire pit, horseshoes, bags, and picnic tables outside for customers to enjoy throughout the year.

Their hours are currently listed as:

• Wednesdays and Thursdays: 11:00 am – 09:00 pm
• Fridays and Saturdays: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm
• Sundays: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

They will initially be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
