If you've been wondering what is replacing Younkers at Miller Hill Mall, here's an option.

According to WDIO, Dillard's is a contender. A representative says the famous chain is one of the companies that has eyed the space.

If you aren't familiar - Dillard's is a department store chain headquartered in Little Rock Arkansas. They sell upscale brands like Vince Camuto, Michael Kors and Free People.

As of now, there are about 300 different stores across the country in 29 different states.

At the time the closure was announced, WDIO reported the doors would not stay open past August 31st. It seems this is still true, as Younkers will officially be closing in less than a week.

Miller Hill Mall is located at 1600 Miller Trunk Highway in Duluth.

The closure was originally announced in April, when the company stated that all Minnesota locations would be closing their doors for good.

As of right now, nothing is official or set in stone. Reports say there have been several companies looking at the spot but nothing has been purchased.
