Garbage Fee Passed, Charges For Second Cans Will Be Additional 5 Dollars

The City of Superior will be charging a monthly fee of $7.75 per resident for garbage collection.  Also, if you are a resident that uses a second can, there will be an additional $5 fee per month.  So, naturally people have been wondering how do they get rid of their second can.  I called the city this morning and asked the same question.

I contacted both the public works department and the Mayor's office and they said there is no plan in place yet since the measure has just been passed.  I was assured that there will be an opportunity to have your second can returned before the fee takes place in January.
