Body Found In Duluth’s Chester Creek
Sad news to report this afternoon as the Duluth Police Department is currently investigating the discovery of a dead body in Chester Creek.
According to our media partners at WDIO:
Police say a passerby spotted the body in the creek, just south of the 9th Street Bridge, at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and called 911. Authorities say the person is a young man.
It's not immediately clear what caused his death.
Police said there are glare ice conditions in the area and urged people to use caution when walking in the park.
Other sources are reporting that this is being investigated as a possible suicide.
