Team Shuster Attends Vikings – Packers Game As Guests Of Honor
From curling to football.
It's no secret there was a HUGE football game on Sunday - the Minnesota Vikings versus the Green Bay Packers. Well, our gold-medal winning Olympians from the area were there and it's safe to say they had a pretty good time.
The 2018 U.S. Olympic Men's Curling Team were the guests of honor at the heated game and they could be seen cheering, laughing and overall, having the best time ever.
In attendance was John Shuster, Tyler George, John Landsteiner and Joe Polo. The team sounded the Gjallarhorn before the big game, too.
The team shared their excitement on social media. Shuster shared an on-field picture of him and Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen.
He also shared a video from his seats, joking that it wasn't a bad place to catch the game.
The Minnesota Vikings announced their guests of honor the day before the game, tweeting out the big news.
The team returned to the Northland earlier this year, after taking home the gold medal for curling at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
Since then, they have become huge celebrities, appearing everywhere from Target Field on Opening Day to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
