New Song From Tigirlily Gold Takes Aim At Vikings Fans
Vikings fans are not going to like this. A popular country duo just teased a new song and a popular football team gets a little love in it. This might cause some controversy around these parts.
If you are a country music lover or from the midwest, you've probably heard of Tigirlily Gold. The duo is comprised of two sisters named Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh. They are from the midwest, and rose to fame in the area before making it big in Nashville.

The two are from North Dakota and moved to Nashville a few years back. They earned a residency at Dierks Bentley's bar and soon, were signed to a record deal. They even won an ACM Award for New Duo / Group Of The Year in 2024.
They've been hustling ever since and just teased a brand new song that is going to have people talking - especially in our neck of the woods!
Country Duo Tigirlily Gold Show Love To The Green Bay Packers
They must be fans of the Green Bay Packers! The duo just teased new music with a fun Instagram video. The song is called 'Country & Midwestern' which are two things we are clearly familiar with here.

In what appears to be the chorus, the duo say they don't shed tears when the Cowboys lose a game. Why? As they say it's GO PACK GO around here. Like I said, Vikings fans are not going to be happy about this.
Hey, maybe they will give the Vikings a shoutout in the full song. This was just a teaser, after all. The song comes out on March 27th. They also shout out beer, deer and cheese curds. I guess we have a reputation in the midwest. Ha!

By the way, the two have been in Duluth before and even went and saw some of our attractions while in town. This was back in 2024 when they were opening for Sara Evans. They seem to always be having fun.
