If you haven't visited the Great Lakes Aquarium lately it should be on your "to do" list to see the new Unsalted Seas Exhibit.  My favorite (and always will be) is the Otters, those little playful honeys!  But, my friend Alan White told me the tale that he gets to kiss the sturgeon and THAT I HAD to see.

When I first got the call that the Lake Superior Zoo wanted to come for a visit with a tarantula, I didn't think it would be that big of a deal.  Boy, was I wrong!  Ken was freaking out to the point of literally making audible sounds that I've never heard come out of his mouth before.  That made me even more brave to have Rosie crawl on my arm...well, sorta brave.

Remember these cute little bugs?  The Cootie Bug game was one of my favorites as a child, along with Parcheesi, Yahtzee and Life! (not a fan of Monopoly due to my crappy math ability, although it did teach me to make change).   But, everybody had their favorites.  "Toys" is a national traveling exhibit of toys making stop at the MN History Center and has been breaking attendance records.
