Dinosaurs Drive-Thru Dates Have Been Extended At Mall Of America Parking Lot
[UPDATE 7.9.21]
How cool would that be to travel through a real life Jurassic Park in the safety and convenience of your own vehicle? Starting today that could be a reality with over 50 animatronic dinosaurs set up all over the South East Parking lot at Mall Of America with Dinosaur Drive-Thru.
These dinosaurs are about as realistic as can get and are being hailed as museum quality looking. After being sold out in six other cities across the country I am sure that this exhibit will follow suit given the normal traffic that the Mall Of America draws anyway.
The dinosaurs are set up all along a one-way driving route in chronological order, and the trip lasts around 45 minutes and includes an audio tour (in English or Spanish). Besides the excitement of seeing the dinosaurs in person staff will be dishing out shocking fun facts. Plus every vehicle gets to play an active trivia game and every winner even gets an official certificate!
The exhibit at Mall of America will run now until July 11, there are no shows Monday through Wednesday. Below is some dates and hours when it is going on.
- Thursdays: 2-8 p.m. ($35 per vehicle, up to eight occupants)
- Fridays: 2-9 p.m. ($49 per vehicle, up to eight occupants)
- Saturdays: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. ($49 per vehicle, up to eight occupants)
- Sundays: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. ($49 per vehicle, up to eight occupants)
- 4th of July: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. ($49 per vehicle, up to eight occupants)

This would be a great thing to do with friends or another family since each vehicle can have a group up to 8 people. I can't imagine as a kid or even adult how cool this would be to see in person.
