Considering how nasty the weather has been, it's hard to believe that school will be out for summer in about a month!

If you're looking for some activities for the kids this summer, the City of Superior is once again offering the Summer Playground Program. The program runs mid-June through mid-August and offers supervised play and outdoor fun in a safe environment for Superior children ages 5-11.

All Summer Playground Program staff has been trained in First Aid and CPR and they have also partnered with the School District of Superior to offer lunch and snacks at no charge.

Field trips and swimming at the YMCA are also part of the program, trips to EDGE Waterpark, World of Wheels and more fun locations are planned for the summer.

The program is available at six parks throughout Superior, Billings Park, 18 Oaks, Central Park, Hammond Park, Wade Bowl, and Webster Park. Registration is open now, you can do that and get more information here.
