Spring Cleanup Schedule Approaching for Superior

Superior does their yearly spring clean up where they go around and pick up your junk for free! But not everything is accepted and there are rules to where you can place your items.

The City of Superior asks that you place your garbage in an orderly pile and be mindful of your neighbors. All of your eligible items must be placed in your normal garbage pick up area at 7am on your scheduled day. The schedule begins in the North End on April and finishes on May 24th in the Itasca area.

Here's what IS NOT accepted:

• Mattresses
• Boxsprings
• no building construction/ demolition materials
• no hazardous liquids
• nothing containing asbestos
• no tires
• no TVS, no electronics, no appliances
• no fluorescent bulbs
• not motor oil or car batteries
