Skyline Lanes In Hermantown Is Now Open After Undergoing A Huge Transformation [VIDEO]
Skyline Lanes in Hermantown underwent a multi-million dollar face lift and is now known as Skyline Lanes and Games and are officially open to the public today!
WDIO reports that the 6,000 square foot facility has undergone an extensive remodel, expansion and rebranding in the process. Corey Kolquist who is the general manager explained, "It was time to re-invest. Reinvent ourselves. The traditional bowling center doesn't really exist anymore. You need to adapt into a family entertainment center or become boutique bowling. And we chose the entertainment center!"
The arcade now has 40 new games, the birthday party area has walls covered in bright glow in the dark paint. The restaurant has been remodeled with a new menu and the bar has been expanded as well. They also now offer duck pin bowling which is a smaller lane and you don't even need to wear bowling shoes to play.
Another huge addition is is the virtual reality area called Hologate.Kolquist said "There are only two in Minnesota, with 250 in the in the whole country, It's a worldwide leader in virtual entertainment." With the cooler weather approaching this would make for a great outing with friends or family. Skyline Lane and Games is located at 4894 Miller Trunk Hwy in Hermantown.
