Guadalajara Debuts New Colorful Menu With New Items
Our birthday tradition is going to Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant in Superior. I think we've been there for just about every birthday in our household since the kids were even eating off the kids' menu. (Seriously, they loved the place, but it took years to get them to try Mexican food at a Mexican restaurant.)

My favorite for years was the steak fajitas. I ordered it religiously, with an occasional California Burrito to change it up. Now, my go-to is the Quesabarria. It's so tasty, crispy, flavorful, and fun to dip in the broth.

So, after my daughter's soccer game at "The Swamp" in Superior, we stopped in at the bustling Guadalajara for dinner. It was Wednesday night, so they had their medium margarita special. It's one of their busiest nights.

We were all surprised when our server brought out the new menus. They were colorful, bright, and had a different layout with some new menu items. I snapped some pictures at the table so I could share them with readers.

As always, we started out with queso to go along with our chips. Our group of 7 ate 4 baskets of tortilla chips in record time.

As always, it was a great meal, and fortunately we have another birthday coming up soon, so we'll be back soon!

Oh, and I did get my Happy Birthday song and shot of tequila too, which is a nice bonus after a couple of margaritas. Thankfully, I wasn't driving!
