Two Minnesota Cities In Top 10 List Of US Golf Destinations
I had no clue how lucky we are to live in Minnesota when it comes to golfing. When I think of top golf destinations, I imagine warm climates with ocean views. But, it turns out that two cities in Minnesota are regarded as top golf destinations in the United States.
Top 10 US Golf Destinations With The Most Courses Per Capita
Curated put together a list of the top golf destinations in the United States, and I stumbled on it the other day. I was shocked to see that Minnesota was on the list not once, but twice! What makes these Minnesota cities so great?
The list features cities with the most courses per capita. They base it on the number of courses per 100,000 people. They used data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and ranked metro areas by how many golf courses and country clubs are in the area.

St. Cloud, Minnesota #10
St. Cloud, Minnesota, came in at number 10 on the list. There are 16 golf courses within 20 miles of St. Cloud. Most of them are open to the public. Curated says that St. Cloud has some of the best golf in the region.
Duluth - Superior (Twin Ports) #8
Duluth and Superior made the cut at #8. Wow! Did you know there are 24 golf courses in the area? Helping make the list is obviously the views of Lake Superior from Enger Park Golf Course. Nemadji Golf in Superior is also a beautiful course. Northland and Ridgeview Country Clubs are also prestigious courses that offer next-level play.
