Here’s What You Need To Know For The 2022 Superior 4th Of July Celebration

The Superior 4th of July Celebration begins at 11 am and then finishes at Barker’s Island Festival Park with music and fireworks.

According to the City of Superior Website, the July 4th parade will run from Mertz Mortorelli Memorial Drive (behind the UWS Football Field), then will go West on Belknap Street, and conclude at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and 14th Street. The cars from the car show will begin the parade and the Bordertown Betties will be walking along or riding along if the cars want to have them in their cars to start the parade.

On July 4th at 1 pm, the Dennis VanAlstine Memorial 4th of July Car & Motorcycle Show will start with music on Tower Avenue by Aftershock from 1 till 3 pm, then a Pin-Up Girl contest at 3 pm with the Bordertown Betties. Popular local singer John Seguin will play just before the awards at 5 pm. Then John Seguin will take the stage again.

There is a lot going on at Barkers Island Festival Park with Food Vendors to take care of your hunger and thirst. At 6 pm popular local band Born Too Late will rock the stage until 7:45 pm and then back to take the stage is PopROCKS from 8:15 till 11 pm with a break for the fireworks.c.

The Superior Fireworks will be launched from a Roen Salvage Barge at 10 pm with the official soundtrack from KOOL 101.7 FM. A full list of activities is listed on the City of Superior Website.
