In Minnesota last year they recycled holiday lights in Hinckley and Grand Marais.  Habitat for Humanity of Superior stepped up and collected your used and or defective holiday lights in the Northland and they're doing it again this year.  Do you have any you need to dispose?

According to a report from the WDIO.com,  Habitat for Humanity is collecting the used and defective holiday lights so they don't end up in our landfills.  Again, the cool thing is, while we are protecting the environment it will also benefit local low income families.

It's the Habitat for Humanity ReStore that is collecting donations of old, defective, and unwanted holiday lights. The program collected more than 600 pounds of lights last year.
