Fighting For Friends 1 Mile Walk/Run Is Saturday In Superior

You're looking to get a little exercise for a tremendous cause, make plans now to participate in the Fighting For Friends 1 Mile Walk/Run, which is this Saturday in Superior.

The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Bear Creek Park in Superior, on the Osaugie Trail behind the Superior Animal Shelter and Moccasin Mike Road.

The cost is just $4 per person, or $10 for a group of 4, and all proceeds will go to support children's cancer research.

My daughter has already shown an interest in running and has recently asked to on a one-mile run.  I think this would be a perfect opportunity for us to do just that.  You should bring your family too, as there will also be a bean bag tournament, bounce house, snacks, and a bake sale.
