City Of Superior Asking Residents To Clear Storm Drains Before Rain
We've got significant rain coming this week starting with some drizzle this afternoon. It will turn into steady rain by Wednesday and a flood watch has been issued for The Northland through Thursday night. With the frozen ground, this had the potential to create some pretty bad flooding.
The City of Superior Environmental Services Division has asked for resident's help clearing storm drains and culverts. Some may still be frozen or covered in snow, and that will not allow the runoff water to clear out. So check the storm drains in your neighborhood and clear them if you can.
If you do experience any street flooding or flooding in your home, you can call them to report it at 715-394-0392.
