City of Duluth Offering Date Night Childcare Opportunities
As a parent, it can be a challenge to break away from the kids for a little private time. Whether wanting an actual date night with your partner or just needing alone time to get some things done, it's never easy.
Thankfully, the City of Duluth has another Date Night Childcare opportunity coming up where Duluth Parks & Recreation staff will watch the kids while parents can get a little alone time.
The City announced on their Facebook page that the next Date Night Childcare event will be Friday, November 5:
Calling all parents and guardians! Need a couple hours away from the little ones? Date Night Childcare is here to watch the kids while you and your significant other have some time for YOU!
From 6-8 p.m., Parks staff will lead activities for youth (ages 5-12) at Portman Community Center including group games, art projects, and more.
The cost is $8 and you do have to register in advance. The City notes that space is limited, so interested families should not hesitate to sign up and reserve their spot.
After clicking on the button above, you'll next need to click on "Programs". You will then see the Date Night Childcare option where you can register for the November 5 opportunity at Portman Community Center.
You'll also notice another Date Night Childcare has already been set up for Friday, December 3, at the Evergreen Community Center. If you're looking for some private time to get a little Christmas shopping or Christmas present wrapping done, there's your chance!
