If you're looking for something fun and different to do this weekend in the Northland, get ready to spend Saturday in a rhubarb state of mind.

CHUM's 11th annual Rhubarb Festival will be held this Saturday, June 27, in Duluth from 9am to 4pm on 11th Ave East and London Road.  Rhubarb treats including pies, muffins, crisps, brats, and burritos will be sold. A variety of games, crafts, live musical performances, and a silent auction  will also take place and admission is free.

The best part is that proceeds go to help the community by supporting those in need of food, shelter, and social services CHUM provides throughout the area.

At night, you can check out Rhubarb After Dark at The Red Herring Lounge with live music starting at 7pm and a one-night only rhubarb juice cocktail.   There is a ten dollar cover charge, with proceeds benefiting CHUM.
