11 Places In The Northland To Ring In St. Patrick’s Day
The big day is almost here. Are you feeling lucky yet?
You and your fellow leprechauns have a bunch of choices when it comes to celebrating St. Patrick's Day.
Lucky for you, I did some research on the funnest parties and events happening Saturday so you don't have to.

Giant's Ridge
Go 'shamROCK the Ridge' from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and get in the holiday spirit! There will be a costume contest, outdoor music, food, beverages, a scavenger hunt and a slush cup. End the night by skiing for the evening of 'Nights Under The Lights!' Bonus: our very own Joe Danger will be hanging out there from noon to 4 p.m.!

The Cast Iron Bar And Grill
Get your green on with Rage N Country in Pike Lake. They are going Irish! You can also eat. Make sure to wear your green shirt and hat to take part in the fun. - 3
The Breeze Inn
Have a laid back St. Patty's Day at the Inn from 4 to 7 p.m. The McCullough Brothers will be playing live tunes. It is time to do an Irish jig!

Rendezvous Sports Bar & Grill
The Bar & Grill will be the place to be. Expect $4 lime vodka coolers and Jameson. The real kicker? $2.50 pints of 'Green Vous Brew' - green beer brewed just for them. Yum!

Dubh Linn Irish Brew Pub
Set an alarm and plan to be up at 9 a.m. for a special Irish breakfast and lunch. There will be live music all day with bagpipers, games, contests, prizes and of course, green beer.

The Other Place Bar & Grill
This FREE party is the place to be, thanks to DJ A.D. There will be $4 drink specials and green beer. The fun starts at 9 p.m. and goes until 1 in the morning.

Foster's Sports Bar & Grill
From 11 a.m. to nearly midnight, drink green beer and eat Irish food with specials all day. There will also be live music by 'Beer Money' beginning at 6 p.m. Put your party pants on!

Ugly Stick Saloon
The party starts at 9:30 and continues through 1:30 a.m. with free admission! There will be 80's rock music by Traction. Expect green beer and great drink specials all night.

Clyde Iron Works
This is the biggest party in the Northland and the place to be on St. Patrick's Day. There will be live music, food, an indoor parade and more. Admission is free and the party starts at 6 p.m. Have fun!

Lake Superior Zoo
Who wouldn't want to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a sloth and some other cute animals? Lake Superior Zoo will host a party, complete with a treasure hunt, float and hot chocolates. Ticket prices range from $5 to $10.

Belknap Liquor & Lounge
Come hang out starting at 4 p.m. There will be corn beef and cabbage. The Circuit Breakers will perform around 8. There is no cover charge and you must be 21 and up.
