YWCA Mother’s Day Walk / Run To Affect West Duluth Traffic This Sunday

The YWCA Mother's Day Walk/Run is a fantastic annual event for all those involved.  Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 7, and the event will begin at 8:30 AM, starting at the Heritage Center near 29th Avenue West and Michigan Street.  If you are traveling in that area, prepared road closures.

Runners and walkers will travel from the Heritage Center parking lot to Superior Street.  From there, they will continue west to 39th Avenue West, head east to 34th Avenue West, back to Wade Stadium – where they will enter the ball field.  Finally, participants will continue and return to a finish line at the Heritage Center parking lot.

Therefore, during the event, Superior Street, Jenswold Drive, and Michigan Street will be closed to drivers in the course area – from Carlton Street to 39th Avenue West.
