Mother's Day is fast approaching, and moms deserve a special thank you. That's what the founder of the MOTY Awards wanted to do for his wife and extraordinary mothers everywhere.

Dan Elnes started the MOTY awards as a tribute to the women who give us everything. Now, several years later, the tradition continues with a fund event at Glensheen Mansion on Thursday, May 7th.

 The 2026 MOTY (Mother Of The Year) Awards will happen at the Winter Garden at Glensheen Mansion. Food will be catered by Mid Coast Catering. There will also be awards and prizes from local businesses.

Nominate A Mom For A Mother Of The Year Category

You can nominate a special mom in your life online. There are different categories you can select to nominate for, like Mom of the Year, Single Mom, Best Cuddler, Mother Theresa, Mother Nature, Best Supporting Partner, Patience Pants, Super Save, Most Organized, Cheerleader, or another category.

There's a short submission form where you can brag about your mom. Beyond that, there is just some contact information needed.
