Superior Market Set To Bring Convenience Back To Downtown Duluth

This is no April Fool's joke! Downtown Duluth will have a new market opening soon this week. It's really great to see vacant spaces turned into something we need and filling in the gaps in the community.

Snyders closed in the Holiday Center last year. The vending machines along the hallway also went away. There's no quick place to run Downtown at the moment for quick convenience items or a snack.

It looks as if that will change as Downtown Duluth shared photos of the shelves stocked and getting ready to open the new Superior Mart in Downtown Duluth.

While Superior Market isn't a full grocery store, it will carry some grocery items and frozen meals.

The aisles look full and ready to go. There's a candy and snack aisle stocked with beef jerky, trail mix, chips, popcorn, soda, and more.

Frozen meals, frozen meats, and ice cream are all being kept cold in the chill zone.

It looks like they have a wide selection of pop, water, and juices, too.

Most people on social media are praising and welcoming the new business to the area. They appreciate having a new market in Downtown and have pledged to stop in frequently to support the business.

It will be nice to have a place nearby to grab something quick, like batteries, painkillers, OTC meds, and hygiene products.

For those people who work downtown or visit downtown, be sure to stop in and support this market. Ownership has said that if there is something they don't carry that you'd like, ask them about it. They're happy to have feedback from customers on what people are looking for.

Superior Market is located on the West 100 block of Superior Street, across the street from Dubhlinn Irish Brew Pub.
