Having been in country radio for quite a while now, I've had a chance to see most of these acts and can tell you what to expect from this year's Country Fest.  There's still a chance for you to win tickets too, keep reading for details. You can see the lineup at countryfest.com, but here's a few highlights I'm going to point out for you, from personal experience.

Thursday it's all about Rodney and Dierks. Rodney Atkins was at the Head of The Lakes Fair back in 2007, and was awesome.  He had a great time with the crowd, and at the time he only had 3 hit songs, but entertained everyone the entire time.  Nice guy too.  Dierks Bentley was at the DECC back in 2008, and he put on quite a show, playing a long set.  Also on a side note, he is the nicest country music artist I've met.  He's really a down to earth kind of guy.

Friday expect a great show from Sugarland.  They've got quite the stage set up, and they feed off the energy of the crowd, so come screaming!  I've also seen Easton Corbin, and he's got a nice easy laid back drinking beer kind of style.  You'll enjoy that too.

Saturday:  Brad Paisley. I've seen Brad twice, and both times he played until they told him he had to stop because it was getting too late.  He's heavy into guitar playing, solos, and of course playing every hit that he's had out.  That's why he can go so late.

Sunday:  Keith Urban. I'm excited to go Sunday, because I haven't seen Keith yet.  I've seen footage from his concerts and I know he leaves it all out on the field.   He usually is drenched with sweat by the time he's done, from running around with such a high energy performance.

Here's the great news too.  Tomorrow you have a chance to win tickets to see all of these acts and more!  At the Twins Bar tomorrow from 5-7, you can enter for your chance to win 2 pairs of 4 day passes with camping (2 campsites.)  Its worth over $1000!  Chris Allen will be there and the earlier you get there, the better your chances are to win the tickets.  Tomorrow at the Twins Bar from 5-7, with B105!
