I have never really seen this happen before! It looks like Brad Paisley will have a new opening lineup when he plays at the Minnesota State Fair later this year.

In case you missed it, the country star will be taking the stage at the Grandstand on Thursday, September 3rd. I was so excited when this was announced! It is going to be an amazing show kicking off at 7 p.m.

Initially, when the show was first announced, Avery Anna was scheduled to open the show. This was especially exciting, considering she is the reigning new ACM Female Artist Of The Year.

I got an email that alerted me to a lineup change: now not one but TWO country artists will open the show and Anna Avery is off the docket.

Two Upcoming Country Artists Opening For Brad Paisley This September

Get ready to see Jake Worthington and Laci Kaye Booth when they open for the show later this year! According to a statement from the fair, Avery Anna had to pull out of the show due to a scheduling conflict.

Those that were excited to see the award-winning artist are definitely bummed but at least we get two openers now, and two artists that are really making a name for themselves in Nashville right now.

Doors for the show open at 6 p.m. so if you want to see both openers, make sure you arrive early so you can be ready when the show kicks off an hour later. I cannot wait for the show and really can't wait to eat all the foods beforehand.

You can still snag tickets right now online via Etix. Make sure you use caution when you are buying tickets outside of the website or from a third party as it could very likely be a scam. See you at the show!

Every Concert Coming (So Far) To Grand Casino Arena In St. Paul, Minnesota

For years, Minnesota music and Minnesota Wild fans knew the downtown St. Paul Arena as the Xcel Energy Center. It had become one of the most beloved concert venues in the upper Midwest.

After a name change, the building at 199 West Kellogg Boulevard is now known as Grand Casino Arena. However, one thing hasn't changed at all: the arena's ability to attract world-class performers and deliver unforgettable nights for fans across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The 2026 lineup currently booked at Grand Casino Arena is loaded, spanning rock, pop, country, R&B, and classic hits from some of the most legendary names in music. There's even a huge pop star already confirmed for 2027!

Whether you're planning a summer night out or looking ahead to fall, or even the Holiday season, there's something on this schedule worth circling.
