All the bright lights and pageantry of a national championship are in full effect in St. Paul as the Xcel Energy Center is hosting the 2018 NCAA Men's Frozen Four. The red carpet was rolled out for teams as they entered the stadium and fans and media from around the nation awaited opening night of the three-game event kicking off Thursday.

Team introductions are always an exciting prelude to the game, giving fans and players the opportunity to get amped up to some energizing music as players hit the ice to the cheers of the crowd. This year, the NCAA and hosts at the Xcel Energy Center included a projected light show onto the ice as part of the introductions. While this is by no means the first time something like this has been done (it was also done for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship), the Frozen Four light show didn't disappoint.
