Celebrate UMD Bulldogs With This Special Bobblehead Release
Attention UMD fans! The Bulldogs have their own bobblehead to celebrate National Bobblehead Day. There's a limited number available, as they are only making 2,026 Champ Bobbleheads.
The special edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which the University of Minnesota Duluth officially licenses. There are two versions of the bobbleheads available online in their store. The bobbleheads are expected to ship in May 2026.

Why Did They Choose UMD Bulldogs For Bobbleheads?
The National Bobblehead Museum cites UMD Bulldog Mascot Champ's enthusiasm for athletics, which represent the determination, toughness, and competitive spirit associated with UMD Athletics. They highlight the fact that the UMD Bulldogs compete in Division 1 for men's and women's ice hockey, and highlight the three NCAA Division 1 Championships the men's team has won.
- "We’re excited to be unveiling these new Minnesota Duluth bobbleheads in conjunction with National Bobblehead Day,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “We know how passionate Minnesota Duluth alumni, fans, students, faculty, and staff are about their school and bobbleheads, so we expect these bobbleheads to be extremely popular.”
