Update: Duluth City Hall Front Entry Repairs Completed, Work Starts On Side Steps

It's hard enough to get around our Downtown Duluth Government Offices, so many floors of offices with each one attending to a different need.  One job has been completed since my previous blog and new repairs begin at another City Hall location, here's the new information you need to know.

For some time now, the City of Duluth has been working to restore the stairs leading to City Hall.  Construction on the stairs facing Priley Drive has been completed and as of today, April 29 you can use this entrance again.

Now they will begin work on the side steps on West First Street.  That will require them to close those set of doors to the public. You can still access City Hall from West 2nd Street and 4th Ave West, both of which have electronic doors for ADA accessibility,  I suggest you use those.

Please note, the parking meters that were closed due to the anticipated construction will remain unusable.
