The celebrating is done, the guests have gone home and you're taking down the decorations and holiday tree.  Usually, you stick it in the snowbank outside and deal with it weeks later, but this year....most of us don't have a snowbank.  So, what should you do?  Treecycle with WLSSD!  BUT, trees only!  Wreaths, garland and other decorations should go in your trash.  They have added many more locations for your convenience.

Through January 10th you can recycle your tree at:

Duluth Heights Community Club, 33 West Mulberry Street

Woodland Community Club, 3211 Allendale Avenue

Duluth West Toolhouse, 2407 Commonwealth Avenue

Lester Park Parking Lot

Chester Bowl Parking Lot

Rose Garden Parking Lot

Through January 31st you can recycle your tree at:

Demo-licious, 306 South Central Avenue, M-F, 8a-5p and on Saturday, 8a-2p

VEIT/Demolition Landfill Services, 1100 West Gary Street, daily, 7a-5p

WLSSD Materials Recovery Center, 4587 Ridgeview Road, Tues-Sat, 9a-3p
