After Wednesday's Powerball drawing, a $1 million ticket was one of three big winning tickets sold in Minnesota, but nobody claimed the record $1 billion jackpot.

That led to the Powerball jackpot climbing to a record $1.6 billion going into the drawing on Saturday, November 5. Once the numbers were drawn, Minnesota scored several big winners, but nobody won the jackpot.

Saturday's winning Powerball numbers were 28, 45, 53, 56, 69 and the Powerball 20. According to the Minnesota State Lottery, there were three $50,000 Powerball winners in Minnesota.

Here are where the three big Minnesota winners purchased their winning tickets:

Unless they decide to come forward publicly, we may never know who these winners are. Regulation changes took place in order to protect lottery winners who win over $10,000. Big money winners can become targets for scammers and fraud, so the the Minnesota Lottery will not divulge their name unless they first agree to it.

The next Powerball drawing will take place at 9:59 p.m. on Monday, November 7. The estimated record jackpot is an unbelievable $1.9 billion dollars, however that amount could still grow if enough tickets are sold before the drawing.

If you want to take a shot a being a billionaire, remember to purchase your Powerball tickets by 9:00pm CST on Monday, then be sure to check Monday night to see if you've won a record Powerball jackpot.
