This Weeks Country Throwback Finds Trisha Yearwood Singing About a Minnesota City [VIDEO]

This week in my 'Country Throwback', I want to play one of the best voices in any genre of music.  Trisha Yearwood can sing it all from country to blues to jazz to pop and in this song she sings about a city in Minnesota.

'On A Bus To St. Cloud' wasn't a huge hit when it was released in 1996 but it did crack the top 30 on the country singles chart and it remains a favorite for many Trisha Yearwood fans.

I remember an interview with Trisha about the song and why St. Cloud was chosen as the city to sing about.  She said that songwriter Gretchen Peters simply saw the name on the map and thought it sounded really pretty.  It really was as simple as that.
