Have you ever wanted to go behind the scenes of one of the scariest haunted attractions in the Northland? The William A. Irvin haunted ship is back after a long hiatus. The sets are decorated, set up and ready to go, but besides the real ghosts that live on the ship year round, they need some extra help to give people a truly haunting experience.

If you have ever wanted to be a part of the fun scaring the pants off of people now is your chance. The Haunted Ship is looking for actors to volunteer to work on the ship this season. The only requirements is  you must be at least 14+ in age. Just show up at the William A. Irvin Haunted Ship the nights they are open and go directly to the Gift Shop and tell them you want to be one of the actors that night and they will direct you to the actor shop.

I have been lucky enough to go behind the scenes down in the actor area and it is awesome to see. From the giant wardrobe closet and prop room to the make up area it is something pretty amazing to see. The make up crew do an amazing job, you are guaranteed to not be able to recognize yourself. Some of the actors have been coming back for years because they have so much fun. They need between 40 and 50 actors each night so you most likely will not be turned away if you want to participate.

Here are the dates and times, you will want to arrive early before the ship opens in order to get a costume and make up done.:
