Nooooo! Say it ain't so. You probably recognize Patrick John Flueger, a famous actor from right here in Minnesota.

He is from Red Wing, which is about three hours from the Duluth area. He has made a huge name for himself over the past decade, hitting it big in Hollywood when he scored a leading role in Chicago PD.

Peter Krause is also a huge Hollywood star and often talks about Minnesota, how much he loves it and how his first job was at the Minnesota State Fair! He is from Alexandria.

Patrick Flueger Makes It Big In Hollywood With 'One Chicago' Role

The star shot to fame when he was cast in Chicago PD. The show debuted in 2014 and was a massive hit out of the gate. He remains on the show today, having been in nearly 250 episodes and counting.

Patrick John Flueger Leaving 'Chicago PD' For Foreseeable Future

Sad news dropped on Tuesday (October 21st), as it was announced that the star would be taking a leave of absence from the show, effective immediately. Of course, they are in the middle of filming the new season so we won't feel this impact right away.

The good news is that he will be returning before the season ends. Deadline reported the news and said he is taking a leave of absence for a 'personal matter' and scripts that have already been written are being reworked. Sources told deadline he is going through a hard time personally.

It would be really hard to leave a big show, especially if you are an actor and you know it will draw attention. I wish him all the best and can't wait to have him back!
