It really is that good - and if you live in the Northland, I would say there's almost a 100-percent chance that you've had it. It is a very famous burger place after all and for very good reason.

Yup, I am talking about the Anchor Bar & Grill. Located in Superior, the spot is famous for not only its burgers and fries - but also the incredible price you can snag your meal at! It rally is unmatched.

Not only is it famous to locals but it is also famous outside of Superior city limits: Guy Fieri has featured the spot on his hit show Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and it seems it really made an impact.

Why? Because recently, the Food Network spotlighted the Anchor on their popular YouTube channel! It is getting another chance to shine and rightfully so.

The Food Network Spotlights This Superior Spot - Again!

In a video recently uploaded to the channel, DDD's visit to the Anchor Bar & Grill was shared and it was a fun walk down memory lane. However, did you know that Guy didn't really visit the restaurant?

The clip reminded me of this fact! It has been so long since I have seen that episode. Instead, the episode heavily features customers of the spot and puts a big emphasis on how many people wrote into the show telling them to feature it.

I never noticed that before! It does make sense, though. The episode was viewer's choice, with viewers writing in and telling the crew where they should visit. It was filmed in July of 2010. I can't believe it was that long ago!

It aired about seven months later in January of 2011. Shout out to both the show at the Superior staple for both standing this long in two tough businesses. I guess that is more of a ringing endorsement than anything else!
